Corporate Defensive Driving Safety Program
Our corporate Defensive Driver programs are designed with the corporate employee in mind. Developed by the National Traffic Safety Institute (NTSI), each program / course was designed to reduce collisions, minimize employer insurance costs, and assist all employees in becoming SAFER drivers.
Our Corporate Defensive Driving Safety Program is incredibly flexible. It is a cost effective solution for the organization with large or smaller fleets of vehicles. This solution is designed for companies that:
- Desires to reduce your auto insurance premiums
- Minimize your risk with a documented Driver Safety Program and
- Decrease potential expenses due to lost work days or Workman's Compensation Claims resulting from vehicle accidents.
Flexible Options
Our corporate Defensive Driving Safety options are flexible, quick to implement and easy to manage. They can be used by any company or organization that has employees, whether or not the employees are company drivers.
The standard course option allows companies to choose the Certified Florida
4 Hour Basic, 8 hour Intermediate, 8 hour Aggressive Driver and/or the
12 hour Advanced courses as your organization's SAFER Driver Training.
- For larger groups of 10 or more, our instructors come to your facility and can tailor an existing course to meet your needs.
- For smaller groups of 2 to 10, your employees attend a class in our facility.
Based on your organization's needs, group pricing will keep your expenses lower permitting your company / organization to realize the long benefits of SAFER drivers.
Customizable Curriculum Option
Our fully customizable option can be taught as a one, two, three, and / or four hour blocks. Each module can be taught individually or can be used as separate training components for a comprehensive Defensive Driver Safety Program. Our instructors work with your Safety Team to setup a customized curriculum that is right for your organization.
The customizable program provides a turnkey solution tailored for your organizations safety requirements. Courses can be delivered Online (See 1 Hour SAFER Driver Online Module), Live Onsite, at our locations or through a "Train the Trainer" approach. It permits organizations to have your Corporate Instructor conduct the training or can be taught by a Nations Traffic Safety School instructor in your offices or at our locations.
Our Customizable Corporate Defensive Driving Safety Program will introduce the roles that knowledge, values, attitudes, and behavior have in promoting safe driving in your organization. It examines common, on-the-road hazards, and situations that can lead to traffic citations and collisions and the possibility of injuries and death.
Program Objectives:
- Help participants understand how their values and attitudes affect their driving.
- Recognize and evaluate their current habits and, where needed, learn ways to change negative driving behavior.
- Apply a risk reduction process to control or eliminate hazards through the use of the SAFER Driver practices.
- Discover the impact that collisions have on the earnings of a company.
- Create and commit to an action plan for SAFER and responsible driving behavior.
Test Drive the One Hour SAFER Driver Online Module
As experienced drivers, your employees have acquired behaviors and attitudes about driving. While behind the wheel, some can get easily distracted while others become more aggressive.
In one hour, our online course module identifies specific tendencies, offers strategies for improvement and challenges drivers to develop a plan for improvement. This approach is fun, thought provoking and offers organizations an exceptional value. Course participants:
- Explore the root cause of three crashes
- Identify personal driving style and strategies for improvement
- Ride along as a professional driver shows how to respond to common situations
- Review defensive driving techniques in a fun game format
- Receive a printed version of an action plan addressing the negative behaviors identified in the program.
