Florida Divorce and Co-Parenting Course

Sad Children PhotoWelcome to the class for divorcing parents with minor children.  If you are seeking or have filed for a divorce and have children under the age of 18, the State of Florida requires that all parents attend the Parent Education and Family Stabilization Course.  More information on this requirement can be found in the Florida Statue # 61.21.

Our 4 hour co-parenting course was developed by the American Safety Institute, a Tallahassee based school with strong community roots and over 20 years experience developing educational curriculums.  The class is fully approved by the Florida DCF.

If your Divorce was filed in Clay, Collier, Duval or Hillsborough counties you should contact the
Clerk of Court or your attorney to confirm the Court will accept your online Course Certificate.
Certificate

When you successfully complete the online Divorce / Co-Parenting course, your certificate will be processed and you download the certificate immediately after completing your class.  The download is in a .jpg format.  (No charge to you .. it's free!)  It is important to remember that you are responsible for delivering your Certificate.  When you download it, simply deliver it to the your attorney or the County Clerks Offices.

Need your certificate in another format?  The other certificate options available during registration for the course are:

  • Email - $4.95
    Your Certificate will be sent in PDF format to the email address you provide during registration.   Use this option when you want your document in .pdf format.
  • USPS First Class Mail ($9.95)
    Select this option if you need to receive a hard copy of your Certificate.  Your Certificate will be mailed to the address you provide during Registration using the US Postal Service 1st Class Mail.  Typical delivery from Tallahassee to your home address will be 2 to 3 business days throughout Florida.
