Registration for Traditional In Person Traffic School Classes

The Nations Traffic Safety School web site is protected by a 256-bit Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption software.  Normally, data sent between your browser and web servers is sent in plain text — leaving you vulnerable to possible eavesdropping.  An SSL is a security technology for establishing an encrypted link between our web server (website) and your browser.  That means any information you enter is protected from any third party on the internet that wants to "eavesdrop" while you are on our web site.

Look at the address bar at the top of your browser.  The "https://" preceding our address shows you are encrypted while on the Nations site.  Additionally, you will see a closed lock somewhere on your browser address bar (each browser shows it in a slightly different way).

Privacy Policy

You can browse our site without telling us who you are or revealing any information about yourself.  Once you give us your personal information during class registration and enrollment, you are not anonymous to us.  But, your privacy is still very important and we want to protect it.

1. The information you provide during your enrollment is used to verify your course requirement with the DMV or Clerk of the Courts, to enroll you into the correct class and for your Course Completion Certificate.
2. We communicate student information only to local and/or state government institutions as required by law (Clerk of the Courts and the Florida DMV), as well as with any affiliated third party who may be monitoring, and/or delivering online class content or assisting in student registration or processing.
3. Your enrollment information is generally not stored on our web servers, but is processed by software on our servers.  Our servers are located in the United States.
4. We do not sell or rent your personal information to any third parties.

Your Ticket / Citation Number is required to process an enrollment request.  This includes a class for:

• Election for a Traffic Ticket to keep Points off your driving record (4 Hour BDI Class)
• Court Order to attend a 4 Hour Defensive Driving School Class (4 Hour BDI Class)
• Court Order for all 8 Hour Classes (Intermediate, Aggressive or DWLS/R)
• Court Ordered by a judge to attend a 12 Hour Advanced Driver Class
• Court Order to attend a 4 Hour STOP / Under 25 Youthful Offender Class

All Court Orders (assign in court by a Judge) also require your Uniform/Court Case Number

Why?  Our Registration Office cannot process your Enrollment without the Citation/Traffic Ticket Number.  We look-up the record for that Citation Number in the County to ensure you are enrolled in the correct class.  Most important, Course Completion Certificates must have the correct Citation Number on them to clear the record with the County Clerk of the Courts Offices.

Sorry, but if you do not provide a Citation Number, your Registration Request cannot be processed.

Where can you find your Citation Number?

In the upper right corner of your Ticket or on your Court Order.  It is 7 or 8 characters in length (i.e., 1234-ABC or A12BC7DE).  You can also contact the Clerk of the Courts Offices in the County where you received your Ticket and/or Court Order.

Are there exceptions when you do not need a Citation Number?  Rarely, but yes.  See below.

2. The 12 Hour ADI Course to request a Hardship License Interview with the DMV
3. The 12 Hour ADI Course to relieve a DMV Ordered Habitual Traffic Offender Revocation
4. You are a Florida Senior (55+) and want to attend a 4 Hour BDI Class or Mature Driver Class to lower your Auto Insurance Rates up to 10%
5. There are NO Other Exceptions.
