Any time you sign out to take a break, the next time you login, you are returned to the point where you left the previous session. Because you are attending in a "virtual classroom", you can use another computer, laptop or tablet at a different location to complete your defensive driving course.

The price includes the class, certificate processing and automatic filing of your certificate with the DMV and a digital download of your copy at the end of the class. New York Sate does not require students to pass a final exam when taking an online I/PIRP course. Upon successfully completing the Online class, your certificate is automatically filed electronically with the DMV (if you are taking the course for Point Reduction). Your copy will be immediately available for downloading in digital format when you finish the class (Free - Download).
Insurance Reduction: Download in digital format at the end of the class. You must provide a copy to your insurance company or agency.
Point Reduction: Upon completion of your online course, we will automatically file your Certificate with the DMV. A notice will then be entered on the students driving record, and the DMV computer will automatically reduce their active point total by up to four points. Completion of a course under the "Point & Insurance Reduction Program" does not remove, delete, subtract, or erase any violation, conviction, or notice of original number of points from your driving record.
Even after you complete the course, most violations, conviction and points assessed may continue to show on your driving record for up to four years. Violations and convictions involving drugs or alcohol will remain on your driving record for ten years. "Point reduction" means the DMV will not count up to four points on your driving record toward license revocation or suspension.
If you need to verify the course completion has been entered on your record by the DMV, you may request a copy of your driving record from the NYS DMV. To do so, you order your driving record online, or complete a "Request for Driver and/or Vehicle Record Information" (Form MV-15), available at any motor vehicle office.
