4 Hour Basic Driver Improvement Class (BDI)
The 4-Hour Basic Driver Improvement (BDI) course is Florida's most common traffic school class, taken for ticket elections (no points, 18% fine discount), court orders, or DHSMV requirements under FS 322.0261. Available in a traditional classroom with a certified instructor.

Mature Driver Course (Insurance Discount Class)
The 6-hour Mature Driver Course is a Florida DHSMV-approved class for drivers 55 and older that provides up to a 10% auto insurance discount for 3 years. No final exam — certificate issued on class day. 15% of tuition supports Meals on Wheels.

8 Hour Aggressive Driver Course
The 8-Hour Aggressive Driver course is a Florida-certified class court-ordered for drivers exhibiting aggressive driving behavior, reckless driving, super-speeder violations, or as part of a pre-trial plea agreement. Typically required to be completed in-person unless a judge approves online attendance.

8 Hour DDS/Intermediate Course
The 8-Hour DDS/Intermediate Driver Improvement course is a Florida-certified class typically court-ordered by a judge, required for multiple citations, or needed for out-of-state ticket compliance. Available in a traditional classroom or online (if permitted by the court).

8 Hour DWLS/R Course
The 8-hour DWLS/R (Driving While License Suspended or Revoked) course is a court-ordered class required as part of sentencing or probation to help drivers work toward reinstating their driving privileges.

12-Hour Advanced Driver Improvement Course (ADI)
The 12-Hour Advanced Driver Improvement (ADI) course is required for drivers with a court order, point suspension, hardship license request, Habitual Traffic Offender (HTO) revocation, or a DHSMV 3-collisions-in-3-years notice. Offered in a traditional classroom seminar format — no final exam.

Registration deadlines
- Weekend or morning classes — enroll by 4:30pm the day before.
- Walk-ins are welcome subject to space; bring all court papers, DMV papers, or tickets.
Walk-ins: certificates can't be printed before our office verifies your information and court/DMV requirements (typically one business day).
About our classroom courses
Nations offers Florida Traffic School courses as traditional classroom seminars and Live Virtual classes. Our In-Person Defensive Driving Courses (DDC) are scheduled in our Orlando location and in Spanish at Kissimmee.
Nations Traffic Safety School courses are approved by the State of Florida and our instructors are certified by the American Safety Institute. Our defensive driving course certificates are accepted in all 67 Florida Counties and fulfill "In Person" Court Ordered judgments.
Tuition includes all fees and your Certificate. We don't believe in hidden fees or mailing your Certificate to you a couple of days later — you receive it the day of class.
We accept Cash or Money Order for Classroom Courses.
